It is prescribed when excessive wasting and debility accompany the presenting complaint. For anemia, it's used when the face presents a waxy pallor. In stomach cancer, it's indicated for gnawing, burning pains, sour rising, nausea, and intense thirst. It's recommended for fever accompanied by night sweats. In cases of diarrhea with extreme thirst and swelling of legs, it's administered. It's suitable for diabetes with increased pale urine output and unquenchable thirst

It affects the mucous membranes, heart, blood, and respiration, often causing severe prostration, sudden intense pains, and very foul, destructive discharges. Properties: Carbolic Acid acts as a potent irritant and anesthetic, with a languid, foul, and destructive nature. Effects: Causes stupor, paralysis of sensation and motion, weak pulse, depressed breathing, and can lead to death from respiratory center paralysis. Primary Action: Mainly affects the central nervous system and enhances olfactory sensitivity

Dosage

Recommended between the third to thirtieth potency. For arthritis, Phenol as per Goodno's method, must be pure. Specific Formulation: Crystals Solution (25%) mixed in equal parts water and glycerine. Dose is 20 minims, well diluted, taken three times daily (Bartlett's recommendation)
